About

The William D'Abate Elementary School is a K-5 elementary school in Olneyville, Providence, Rhode Island.  D'Abate is part of the Providence Public Schools system.   Our goal is to prepare children to be fulfilled, responsible, productive citizens for life. We will sustain an environment rich with learning opportunities and rigorous standards to foster a healthy child within a healthy family, and to build a healthy community!

WILLIAM D'ABATE ELEMENTARY VISION:  A K-5 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WHERE EVERY STAFF MEMBER, EVERY FAMILY AND EVERY COMMUNITY PARTNER TAKES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR HELPING EVERY CHILD TO ACHIEVE OUR SCHOOL MISSION.

The D’Abate Community School (DCS) is a partnership between the Swearer Center for Public Service at Brown University and the William D’Abate Elementary School.  DCS serves more than 200 children in grades K-5 with afterschool programming during the academic year, 100 children (entering K-rising 6th graders) in a 5-week summer camp, and adults with ESOL classes.
